This guide explains how chartering a private bus in Singapore actually works, from picking a vehicle size to what the rate covers. It is written for anyone arranging group transport for the first time.
Private bus rental in Singapore means you hire a whole bus with a driver for your group, either per trip, per hour, per day or on a monthly contract. You pick a 23, 45 or 49 seater, confirm your pickup time and stops, then get a written quote. Singapore Bus Charter rates start from SGD 85 per trip and cover driver, fuel, ERP and parking.
Private bus rental means the whole bus is yours. You book a vehicle and a driver for your group, set your own pickup point, stops and timing, and nobody else rides with you. It is a chauffeur service, so you never drive the bus yourself.
Every Singapore Bus Charter booking comes with one of our own drivers. We do not offer self drive bus hire. You get a professional driver who holds a Class 4 or 4A licence, and that driver handles the route, the traffic and the parking while your group rides.
Rates are all inclusive. Driver, fuel, ERP charges and parking are already inside the price you are quoted, so there is no separate petrol or toll bill at the end of the trip.
See what a charter rate coversA charter follows your plan. Pickup at the office at 7.30am, a second pickup across town, then the venue. There is no fixed schedule and no other passengers, so the bus moves when your group is ready.
Self drive van hire and private bus charter are different products. With a charter you are buying transport for a group as one package: the vehicle, the driver's time and all the running costs in a single price.
We operate island wide, including Sentosa and Jurong Island. Pickups and drop offs can be anywhere a coach can legally stop, from a Changi Airport terminal kerb to a factory gate in Tuas.
If you already know what the trip is for, the services hub lists every type of charter we run and sends you straight to the right page.

Match the bus to your headcount first, then check luggage. We run three sizes: a 23 seater minibus, a 45 seater coach and a 49 seater coach. More than 49 people means two or more coaches travelling together.
A 23 seater minibus suits smaller groups and reaches tighter pickup points than a full coach. Bags travel inside the cabin rather than in a hold underneath, so it works best for day trips and light luggage.
23 seater minibusA 45 seater coach is the usual pick for a class, a department or a wedding party. It has an undercarriage hold, so suitcases go below and the cabin stays clear.
45 seater coachA 49 seater coach is the largest single vehicle available. It is also worth booking below 45 people when you want spare seats for equipment, bags or guests in formal clothes.
49 seater coachThe two coaches look almost identical from the kerb. The 49 seater adds four seats and more room in the hold. If your headcount sits close to 45 and everyone has luggage, the larger coach takes the guesswork out.
Compare 45 and 49 seaterLarger groups travel in two or more coaches that leave and arrive together. Work out the split from your real headcount, and put every bus on one booking so the timing lines up.
Work out how many busesHeadcount alone can mislead you. A group travelling with a large suitcase each fills a minibus faster than the seat count suggests, while the same group sits comfortably in a coach with a hold. Count the bags before you lock in the size.
Luggage capacity guideExact seat counts, storage volumes and vehicle photos live on the fleet hub, and headcount maths is worked through on the passenger capacity guide.
Charter pricing here is built around how long you need the bus, not how far it drives. There are four normal shapes. Pick the one that matches your day, then check the current figure on the pricing page.
One pickup, one drop off, finished. This suits airport runs, weddings and moving a group from the office to a dinner venue. Rates start from SGD 85 per trip, with the figure depending on the coach size you pick.
Point to point charterHourly charter keeps the bus and driver with your group between stops. It starts from SGD 50 per hour with a four hour minimum, which fits roadshows, filming days and events spread across several venues.
Hourly charterA full day booking covers a long itinerary such as a school excursion or an incentive tour, where the bus stays with the group at every stop instead of leaving and coming back.
Daily charter with driverRegular staff runs and school routes work best on a monthly contract with the same bus and the same driver each day. Pricing is built around your route, headcount and schedule.
Monthly charterThe quote calculator gives you an indicative figure once you have your date, headcount and pickup area to hand.
Instant quote calculatorDivide the flat charter rate by your headcount to see what each passenger actually costs. One booking covers the whole group, so there is a single figure to work from and everyone travels together.
Group transport budgetingAll rates, inclusions and the full quote detail sit on the pricing page, which is the page we keep current.
Booking takes one conversation if your details are ready. The vehicle size, the timing and the total price are confirmed in writing before the day, so nobody on your side has to guess.
Date, pickup time, pickup address, drop off address and headcount. Add any extra stops and whether anyone is carrying large luggage. Those few lines are enough for an accurate quote.
Send the details by WhatsApp or call on +65 8065 3479, use the enquiry form, or email. You get back the recommended vehicle size, the total price and exactly what it includes.
Send your trip detailsDriver, fuel, ERP and parking should already be inside the figure you are given. Ask upfront about anything you might add later, such as an extra stop or a very late finish, so the price stays fixed.
Confirm by message or email and keep it. You should end up with the vehicle type, the date, the times, the pickup point and the agreed price in one place you can forward to your team.
Send a map pin, or the building name plus the exact bay or gate. Coaches cannot stop everywhere, and a precise pickup point saves more time on the day than anything else you can do.
The driver aims to be at the pickup point before your pickup time. Keep one named contact on your side with a phone that is answered, so the driver can reach a person if a gate is locked or part of the group is late.
Private bus charter is a licensed business in Singapore, so the checks are short. Doing them protects your group's insurance cover if anything goes wrong on the road.
The company must hold a valid Private Hire Bus Service Operator Licence from the Land Transport Authority. Ask for the licence and the business UEN. We are LTA licensed and registered under UEN 53379842J.
How to verify an operatorEvery vehicle in the Singapore Bus Charter fleet is LTA registered as a private hire bus, with commercial passenger insurance and current road tax. Ask us for the details and we will confirm them in writing.
Every Singapore Bus Charter driver is a professional driver who holds a Class 4 or 4A licence, and we will confirm that in writing before you book.
A quote nobody wrote down is not a quote. Ask for the total and the inclusions in a message you can keep, so there is nothing to argue about after the trip is done.
Check how long the company has operated and what customers say afterwards. We have run since 2018 and hold 4.8 stars from 184 Google reviews.
Read customer reviewsIf you are booking on behalf of a company, sort the invoicing details and internal approvals early. A short checklist stops the booking stalling in finance the week before the event.

Simple point to point trips can often be arranged at short notice. School and corporate events are worth booking well ahead, and weddings and peak periods such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya fill up earliest. Ask us for your date and we will tell you what is free.
Same day and next day bookings are accepted when a bus is free. Call or WhatsApp +65 8065 3479 rather than emailing, because the phone reaches dispatch fastest.
Last minute availabilityVery early and very late pickups can be arranged subject to availability, including pre dawn airport runs and rides home after an evening event. Send the timing with your enquiry and the trip is quoted in full before you confirm.
24 hour bus charterTell us about extra stops and waiting time when you book so they are inside the quoted figure from the start. Current rates are on the pricing page.
See the current ratesWeekday mornings, Friday evenings and the run up to public holidays are the tightest windows. If your date is fixed and your group is large, book the bus before you confirm the venue.
Dates and times can usually be moved if you tell us early. Give as much notice as you can, and confirm any change in writing so the driver gets the new instructions rather than the old ones.
Tell us the date, the pickup point, the drop off and how many people are travelling, and you get a written quote with the vehicle size and the total price. Call or WhatsApp +65 8065 3479, or send the details through the enquiry form. For monthly, daily, long-term contracts, or large events, email us for a detailed quotation. New to the site?
