Maximising Luggage Space & Packing Smartly
While our buses offer generous luggage capacity, smart packing can make a significant difference, especially for larger groups or longer journeys. Here are some practical tips:
- Opt for Soft-Sided Lug
Luggage limits by vehicle
The figures in the comparison table above are based on standard large suitcases (around 70cm × 50cm × 30cm). Roll-on cabin bags and backpacks stack more efficiently and don’t count against the same limit. Here’s how to think about it in practice:
23-seater minibus
Luggage goes into the rear-most row (seats fold or are removed), not an undercarriage hold. Groups with heavy luggage — returning workers with balikbayan boxes, airport transfers with one large bag per person — should consider the 45-seater even for smaller passenger counts. The 23-seater works well for day trips where guests have day bags only.
45-seater and 49-seater coaches
Both have undercarriage luggage holds accessed from the side of the vehicle. This separates luggage from the passenger cabin entirely, which keeps the interior clean and makes the trip more comfortable. For airport transfers, corporate roadshows with equipment, or school excursions with sports gear, the coach is the practical choice regardless of headcount.
Special items
- Golf bags: fit in the 45 or 49-seater undercarriage, usually 6–8 bags depending on size
- Wheelchairs: foldable wheelchairs fit in the luggage hold; motorised wheelchairs need to be discussed in advance
- Musical instruments: cases go in the hold; instruments that can’t be separated from their case should be discussed at booking
- Exhibition materials and banners: roll-up banners and flat packs are fine; large display boards need a specific check on dimensions
If your group has non-standard luggage, mention it when booking. The driver needs to know in advance, and in some cases the vehicle recommendation changes. Check the coach charter page for full hold capacity specs.
