How do I book a bus charter in Singapore?

Message Singapore Bus Charter on WhatsApp at +65 8065 3479 with your date, pickup point, destination and group size, or use the online quote calculator. You get one all inclusive price covering driver, fuel, ERP and parking. Pay by PayNow, bank transfer or cash. Point to point trips start from SGD 85 in a 23 seater.

Booking and payment

Booking takes one message. Send the date, pickup time, pickup address, destination and headcount and you get a fixed price back. Here is how far ahead to book, how to pay, and what happens if plans change.

How far in advance should I book a bus in Singapore?

Earlier is always better, because the bus is held for your date and time. Book ad hoc trips a few days ahead, school and corporate events a couple of weeks ahead, and weddings and festive dates such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya as early as you can, since coaches are committed to those periods well before the day. Booking early also gives you the pick of bus size rather than whatever is left.

Corporate booking checklist

Can I book a bus charter last minute?

Yes, subject to availability. Same day and next day bookings happen often, especially for airport runs. WhatsApp or call +65 8065 3479 instead of emailing, because a phone message gets checked against live vehicle availability first. Late night slots, public holidays and the larger 45 and 49 seater coaches are the hardest to fill at short notice.

How do I pay, and can my company be invoiced?

We accept PayNow, bank transfer and cash. Regular corporate and school clients can be set up for invoicing, so trips run through the month and finance settles one invoice instead of paying each time. Tell us your PO number or cost centre when you book so the invoice matches your accounts process on the first try.

Corporate charter

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes, and the earlier you tell us, the more we can do. Changes to pickup time, pickup point, route or bus size can usually be made if a suitable vehicle is free. Cancellation terms depend on the booking type and how close to departure you cancel, so ask for them in writing when you confirm and we will state them on your booking.

Change or cancel a booking

One message is enough to quote: date, pickup time, pickup address, destination and number of passengers.

Pricing and rates

Short answers here, full numbers on the pricing page. Every quote is all inclusive: driver, fuel, ERP charges and parking are already in the price. A small number of add ons can apply, for late night trips, public holidays, extra stops beyond your quoted route and waiting time past the free grace period. Anything that applies to your trip is shown on the quote before you confirm, and the pricing page lists every add on and its exact figure.

How much does it cost to charter a bus in Singapore?

Bus charter starts from SGD 85 for a point to point trip in a 23 seater minibus, SGD 100 in a 45 seater coach and SGD 110 in a 49 seater coach. What you pay depends on the distance, the timing, how many stops you add and how long you keep the bus. Hourly, daily and monthly rates are set out in full on the pricing page.

Do regular or long running bookings get better rates?

Yes. Monthly staff shuttles, school runs and fixed corporate routes are priced as a contract instead of trip by trip, because the route and schedule are known in advance. For monthly, daily, long-term contracts, or large events, email us for a detailed quotation.

Monthly charter

Hiring by the hour starts from SGD 50 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours, and the hourly charter page has the detail. Need a figure fast? The instant quote calculator gives you a price in under a minute, and the budgeting guide helps if you are still building the numbers for approval.

Fleet and vehicles

Three bus sizes cover almost every group in Singapore: the 23 seater minibus, the 45 seater coach and the 49 seater coach. Seat layouts, photos and full specs are on the fleet page.

What is the difference between a 23 seater minibus and a 45 seater coach?

Size, luggage space and access. A 23 seater carries up to 23 passengers and gets into tight condo driveways, narrow school gates and multi storey carparks a big coach cannot use. A 45 seater carries up to 45 and has a much larger luggage hold underneath, which matters for airport runs and full day trips. Air conditioning and seatbelts are standard on both.

Compare the fleet

How many buses do I need for 100 people?

Two 49 seater coaches seat 98, so 100 people usually means two 49 seaters plus a 23 seater minibus, or three coaches if you want spare seats for late joiners and equipment. The largest single vehicle is a 49 seater, so any group above 49 travels in more than one bus, timed to leave and arrive together.

Bus charter for 100 people

How much luggage can a 45 seater bus carry?

The 45 and 49 seater coaches have a luggage hold underneath that takes full size suitcases. The 23 seater minibus has less room, so flag bulky bags when you book. Bag by bag figures for each size are in the luggage guide and on the fleet page. Tell us about golf bags, prams, bicycles, instruments or event gear when you book, so we send a bus with the hold space to match.

Luggage guide by bus size

Which bus size should I choose?

Match seats to headcount, then leave a little room. Up to 23 passengers fits a minibus, up to 45 fits a standard coach, up to 49 fits the largest coach. If you are between sizes, size up: everyone must have a seat and wear a seatbelt, so there is no standing room to absorb an extra guest.

Passenger capacity guide

How is the fleet maintained?

Every bus runs on a scheduled servicing cycle based on mileage and is checked before it goes out. Our own mechanics handle servicing and repairs, and vehicles are cleaned between trips. Air conditioning is part of the routine check, since a warm bus is the fastest way to spoil a group trip in Singapore.

About the company

Changi airport transfers

Airport runs are the most time sensitive bookings we take, so the waiting rules matter more than anything else. The full service is set out on the airport transfer page.

How long will the driver wait at Changi if my flight is delayed?

The driver tracks your flight, so pickup shifts with the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one. A free waiting period is built in from the moment you land, which covers immigration and baggage collection. Waiting beyond that is charged, and the pricing page shows the free period and the waiting rate for each type of trip.

Airport transfer service

How much is a Changi airport bus transfer?

Airport transfers start from SGD 100 and cover Changi Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4. The price includes the driver, fuel, ERP and parking, so there is nothing to settle at the terminal. Late night arrivals and departures can carry a midnight surcharge, which is common on long haul flights, and the figure is on the pricing page.

Airport transfer rates

Can one booking cover both the arrival and the departure run?

Yes, though most groups book them as two transfers because the dates are days apart. If the group needs a bus during the visit as well, daily or hourly charter often works out better than several separate one way transfers. Send the full itinerary and we will tell you which option costs less.

Services and events

Corporate, school, wedding, tour, religious and staff transport bookings all run on the same fleet, but the planning behind each one is different. The services hub has a page for every type.

What kinds of trips do you cover?

Corporate events and roadshows, staff and factory transport, school excursions, weddings, sightseeing tours, religious trips, community outings, funerals, team building and company dinners. If it moves a group from one place to another in Singapore with a driver, it is a charter. Each service has its own page explaining what is included and how it is usually scheduled.

Browse all services

Do you do monthly staff transport for factories and offices?

Yes. Monthly contracts run a fixed route on a fixed schedule, with the same driver where possible, which is what shift teams and factory crews need. Routes can take in several pickup points, and headcount can be adjusted as your team changes. Contracts run short term for a project or long term for a permanent shuttle.

Staff transport

Can you handle a group larger than 49 people?

Yes. The largest coach seats 49, so bigger groups travel in a convoy of buses timed to arrive together. A 100 person town hall, a company dinner and dance or a full school cohort is simply a matter of how many coaches we assign and how the pickups are sequenced.

Work out how many buses

Do you provide wedding day transport?

Yes. Wedding bookings are usually hourly, so the bus stays with the party through the ceremony, the photo stops and the banquet. Guests get one pickup point instead of hunting for parking at the hotel. Book as early as you can, because popular weekend dates go early.

Wedding bus charter

Do you cater for school excursions?

Yes, and they are one of our most common bookings. Pickup is at the school gate, teachers do a headcount before departure, and the same bus waits for the return leg so nobody is stranded. Seatbelts on every seat matter here, and drivers are used to working with teachers on timing and supervision.

Safety and compliance

Procurement and school administrators ask these first, and they are fair questions to put to any operator before you hand over a group of people.

Is Singapore Bus Charter licensed by LTA?

Yes. We are a licensed private hire bus operator, UEN 53379842J, established in 2018. Vehicles are registered and inspected under LTA rules and every bus carries comprehensive commercial insurance with public liability cover for passengers. If your procurement team needs licence and insurance details on file, ask and we will send them in writing.

LTA requirements explained

What licence do charter bus drivers need in Singapore?

A Class 4 or Class 4A driving licence, plus the vocational licence required to carry passengers for hire. Class 4 covers heavy vehicles including buses, and Class 4A covers omnibuses. Every one of our drivers holds the right class for the bus they are driving and keeps a clean record.

Driver and operator rules

Do charter buses in Singapore have seatbelts?

Yes. Every seat on our minibuses and coaches has a working seatbelt, and drivers remind passengers to belt up before moving off. Our buses are seated only, so we never carry more passengers than there are seats. The LTA requirements page sets out the rules themselves.

Fleet and safety

Are the buses insured for passengers?

Yes. Every vehicle carries comprehensive commercial insurance including public liability cover for the people on board. This is standard for a licensed operator, and it is one of the three things worth checking before you book any bus in Singapore, alongside the operator licence and the driver's vocational licence.

Where we go in Singapore

Island wide, from the CBD to Tuas, with a few zones that need entry passes arranged in advance. If you want the wider picture of what bus charter in Singapore covers, start at the homepage.

What areas do you cover?

All of Singapore. Common pickups run across the CBD and Marina Bay, the east including Changi and Tampines, the west including Jurong, Tuas, Clementi and one north, and the north east from Woodlands through to Punggol. Hotel to venue, home to airport, office to factory, school to attraction: if it is on the island, we go there.

Back to the homepage

Can a charter bus enter Sentosa, Jurong Island or Tuas Port?

Sentosa is straightforward. Coaches use the vehicle bridge and the drop off points at the hotels and attractions. Jurong Island and Tuas Port are restricted zones that need approved entry passes for the vehicle and for every person on board, arranged through the site or the host company. Send us the pass requirements early, because driver and vehicle details have to be submitted before the trip.

Point to point charter

Can the bus pick up from more than one location?

Yes. Multi stop routes are normal for staff shuttles and event pickups. A point to point booking includes the route as quoted, and each extra stop beyond that is charged at the added stop rate shown on the pricing page. On hourly and daily charter, stops are not charged separately because the bus is yours for the whole block.

How stops are priced

Do you run on public holidays and late at night?

Yes, including Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and Christmas. A public holiday surcharge applies on those dates, and late night trips carry a midnight surcharge. Both figures are on the pricing page. Book holiday dates earlier than usual, because coaches and drivers are committed to festive bookings well ahead.

Surcharges in full

No cross border trips. Coverage is Singapore only, which includes Sentosa and Jurong Island with the right passes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is GST charged on bus charter in Singapore?
Not on our bookings. Singapore Bus Charter is not GST-registered, so no GST is added to your bill. The figure you are quoted is the figure you pay, and we issue an invoice with the trip details your finance team needs for claims and reimbursement.
Do you provide bus charter to Malaysia or Johor Bahru?
No. Singapore Bus Charter operates within Singapore only, including Sentosa and Jurong Island with entry passes arranged in advance for restricted zones. We do not run cross border trips.
What do I need to provide to get a bus charter quote?
Date, pickup time, pickup address, destination, number of passengers and whether you need one way or return. That is enough for a firm price. If the plan is still moving, give us the rough window and we will quote the closest option, then adjust when you lock the details in. The instant quote calculator covers the common trips.
Is a one way trip cheaper than a return trip?
Yes. A one way transfer costs less because the bus is committed for a single leg. Return trips are quoted as two legs, or as hourly charter if the gap between them is short, since keeping the bus and driver on standby can work out cheaper than two separate bookings. Both options are on the pricing page.
What happens if a bus breaks down on the day?
Call the number on your booking straight away and we move a replacement vehicle to you from our own fleet. Buses are serviced on a mileage schedule and checked before dispatch to keep this rare, and the driver will stay with your group and keep you updated until the replacement arrives.
Are your charter buses wheelchair accessible?
Our minibuses and coaches are standard step entry vehicles, so they do not have wheelchair lifts or ramps. Tell us at booking if anyone needs help getting on board and the driver will assist. A folding wheelchair can travel in the luggage hold, and we can plan a pickup point that puts the bus as close to the door as possible.
How fast do you reply to a bus charter enquiry?
WhatsApp or call +65 8065 3479 and you will normally hear back within the hour during business hours. Email suits detailed or multi date requests where you want the quote, route and terms in writing for approval.
