How many buses do I need for a large group in Singapore?

As a quick answer: a group of about 100 people needs three coaches, because two 49-seaters seat 98 and you want a little room to spare. 60 people fit in two coaches, 80 people in two, and 150 people in four. Our fleet is the 23-seater minibus, the 45-seater coach and the 49-seater coach, and we combine whatever mix seats your group comfortably on a single booking from SGD 85 per trip, all-inclusive.

The quick answer, by group size

Match your headcount to a comfortable mix of coaches.

These are comfortable counts, not a tight squeeze. Two 49-seaters technically seat 98, so a round 100 tips into a third coach; three 49-seaters seat 147, so 150 needs a fourth. Tell us your exact number and we confirm the best-value combination.

What changes the number of coaches

Three things move the count up or down. Read these before you book.

Luggage and gear

A coach seats its full number for a short city hop, but suitcases, sports kit, instruments or event gear take up seats and boot space. For trips with luggage, plan for a few seats spare per coach.

Comfort and formal wear

Weddings, dinner and dance nights and corporate events mean gowns, suits and gifts. Leaving a handful of seats free per coach keeps everyone comfortable and makes boarding faster.

One coach or a convoy

Where a single coach fits, it is usually the simplest and best value. Past 49 people you move to two or more coaches, which we schedule together so the group arrives as one.

Tell us about special needs

If anyone in your group needs step-free access, extra time to board or seats kept together, let us know when you enquire so we plan the right vehicle and timing.

Worked examples for 60, 80, 100 and 150

How each common group size splits across our coaches.

60 people

Two coaches. A 49-seater plus a 23-seater gives 72 seats, so there is comfortable room for bags and a few extra guests. Both coaches travel together on one booking.

80 people

Two coaches. Two 49-seaters seat 98, or pair a 49 with a 45 for 94. Either way, 80 people ride in two coaches with seats to spare for luggage.

100 people

Three coaches. Two 49-seaters only seat 98, so a round 100 needs a third vehicle. Two 49-seaters plus a 23-seater gives 121 seats and easy room for gear.

150 people

Four coaches. Three 49-seaters seat 147, just short of 150, so a fourth coach carries the rest with buffer. Three 49-seaters plus a 23-seater seats 170.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many buses do I need for 100 people?
Three coaches. Two 49-seater coaches seat 98, so a group of 100 needs a third vehicle for the remaining passengers and a little comfort room. A common mix is two 49-seaters plus a 23-seater minibus, giving 121 seats, all combined on one booking.
Can you combine different bus sizes on one booking?
Yes. We mix 23, 45 and 49-seater coaches to match your exact headcount and schedule them to travel together, so a large group is handled as a single booking rather than several separate ones.
Do you have anything larger than a 49-seater?
The largest single vehicle in our fleet is the 49-seater coach. For groups above 49 we add coaches rather than use a bigger bus, which also gives you flexibility for multiple pickup points.
How many spare seats should I leave?
For a short trip with no luggage you can fill most seats. If your group has suitcases, event gear or formal wear, plan for a few seats spare per coach so everyone travels comfortably.
Is one large coach cheaper than two smaller ones?
Where a single coach seats your whole group it is usually the best value, since you pay for one vehicle and driver. Once you pass 49 passengers you need more than one coach, and we quote the most cost-effective mix for your number.

Keep planning: read the passenger capacity guide, compare vehicles on the fleet page or jump straight to the 23-seater minibus, 45-seater coach and 49-seater coach, check rates on the pricing page, or see every option on the services hub.
